Kelly McCormick is a seasoned oncology nurse, educator, and advocate based in Hanover Township, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Born and raised in Schuylkill County, Kelly moved to the Lehigh Valley in the mid-1990s to attend Nursing School. What began as a pursuit of education quickly became a lifelong calling, and a community she proudly calls home.
With nearly 30 years of experience in oncology nursing, Kelly’s career has been deeply shaped by personal connections to cancer through family and close friends. She views her work as a calling, guided by faith and compassion, to walk alongside patients and families during some of life’s most challenging moments.
Kelly holds a Doctorate in Nursing Education from The Ohio State University, is certified in oncology nursing (OCN) and is board-certified in Nursing Professional Development (NPD-BC). She is passionate about improving the quality of oncology care and advancing the knowledge and confidence of nurses through professional development. Her mission is to empower nurses to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care that makes a lasting impact.
In addition to her clinical and educational work, Kelly is honored to serve on the board of Life Always Facing Forward (LAFF). Her involvement with LAFF reflects her commitment to community outreach beyond the bedside.
Kelly is also deeply active in her church community. She serves as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and is a dedicated member of both the Women’s Retreat Ministry and the Parish Retreat Community. Her faith is a guiding force in her life and work, and she finds great joy in supporting others through spiritual connection and service.
Throughout her career, Kelly has witnessed extraordinary advances in cancer treatment and improved outcomes. While she dreams of a world without cancer, she remains steadfast in her dedication to supporting, educating, and caring for every patient and family until that day comes.
