Alyssa Glaser is a cancer survivor, a full-time spousal caregiver, mom, and the co-founder of Life Always Facing Forward (LAFF), a nonprofit born from the raw, unspoken moments of the cancer journey that too often go unsupported. Alyssa brings personal and deeply empathetic insight into the journey of illness, healing, and survivorship.
From those depths came a promise, to make sure no one else would have to carry that kind of pain alone. In 2014, what began as a chance connection in an infusion center grew into something much greater: a movement rooted in love, empathy, and shared strength. With that, LAFF was born.
Under Alyssa’s steady and compassionate leadership, LAFF has grown from a grassroots dream to a national initiative that wraps its arms around patients from the moment of diagnosis. She helped lead the organization to become an independent 501(c)(3) in 2023, building a mission driven team committed to emotional healing and survivorship support through mentorship, community outreach, and heartfelt human connection.
Alyssa’s dual role as survivor and caregiver makes her a powerful advocate for whole person care. Her mission is clear: to offer every patient the connection, compassion, and strength she once needed, and to remind them they never have to walk alone.
Alyssa leads not as an outsider looking in, but in someone who has walked the hardest roads and turned them into pathways of hope for others. Her work is deeply personal, profoundly authentic, and anchored in the belief that even in the darkest moments, no one should ever feel alone.
